Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late departures without prior approval will incur a fine of $50 for every 30 minutes past 10:00 AM. If the home is left excessively dirty or in poor condition beyond normal use, an additional cleaning fee will apply. Fees will also be charged for stained or damaged linens and towels. Before you go do the following: - Remove all food from the refrigerators and dispose of any perishable items. - Clean up any spills or food to help prevent pests. - Collect all garbage and place in the designated bins. - Load and start the dishwasher. - If you moved any furniture, put it back where it was. - If you used keys to access the property, the pool, or the storage area, please return them. - Lock all doors. * Parking passes, the pool key card, and keys to the gym and laundry room can be found in the first drawer in the kitchen. Please return them before you leave. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fine for each key and parking pass that is missing. * A total of 2 vehicles can be parked in the parking lot. Do not park under the condo. Put the parking pass on your dashboard. Vehicles without a parking pass and vehicles parked under any of the buildings or covered parking areas WILL be towed at the vehicle owners expense. Only passenger vehicles are allowed on the property (no trailers, boats, etc…) * The gym and laundry room are in the yellow building at the front of the property. There is also a grilling area next to it. * Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM and are enforced by Surf City Police. * No parties or illegal activities. Respect the neighbors and keep noise at a reasonable level. If the police are called due to a nuisance party, you will be held liable for any fines that are incurred and may be evicted. * No smoking inside the house. This includes vapes, cigarettes, marijuana, cigars, etc. You may smoke outside, but dispose of cigarette butts in the trash. * Use the water hose at the beach access point to wash sand off yourself, dogs, and items before returning to the house. Do not use the sinks or bath tubs to clean sand off. * Run exhaust fans while showering to control moisture. The outdoor shower is not available during winter months. * Do not leave the sliding door or windows open. AC units will not cool sufficiently if doors and windows are left open. Leaving them open allows excess humidity into the home, which can cause metal items to rust and may damage the property. Do not set the AC below 65 degrees and turn it to 75 before you leave. * No grilling or open flames on decks or porches. Charcoal grilling is allowed in designated grilling areas. All ash/coals must be properly disposed of after use. This policy is strictly enforced by the HOA and noncompliance will result in a fine. * Do not hang/drape items/clothing over balcony or stair railings. * Do not leave beach chairs, bags, or other belongings under the building, in front of storage closet doors, or in the stairwell. The HOA strictly enforces this rule and noncompliance may result in fines and confiscation/disposal of items. * No Skateboards, hover boards, roller blades/skates are allowed in the complex. Bicycles are prohibited in the courtyard areas. * Do not walk on or allow dogs to go to the bathroom on the grass in the courtyard. The HOA strictly enforces this rule. Clean dogs off before allowing them in the house. Clean up after your pets. We love featuring guest dogs on our social media. Send us a picture of your dog enjoying the beach and follow us on social! SWIMMING POOL AND SPA SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RELEASE By booking this home, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Safety Acknowledgement and Release. If you do not agree with these terms, please cancel your reservation immediately. You also agree, on behalf of all guests in your party, to the following: * To supervise all children and minors at all times around the pool or spa. * To ensure all doors, windows, and barriers to the pool or spa are closed and locked when not in use. * To assume all risks related to pool or spa access. * To acknowledge that the pool and spa are maintained by a licensed third-party service provider. While every effort is made to ensure their availability, temporary closures due to routine maintenance, repairs, or safety concerns may occur. By booking, you accept this possibility and agree that no refunds, discounts, or compensation will be issued in such cases. * To indemnify and hold harmless the property owner, co-host, and associated personnel from any liability or claims related to pool or spa use, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. Pool and Spa Safety Guidelines: * No glass is allowed in or around the pool or spa. * Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the pool and backyard. * Avoid leaving toys or objects in the pool or spa area that might attract children. * Never let phone calls, doorbells, or chores distract you when children are near the water. Maintain full attention at all times. * Do not rely on swimming lessons or flotation devices to prevent drowning. * Learn CPR—family members and babysitters should be CPR certified. In Case of an Emergency: * Act immediately—shout for help. * Pull the child or individual out of the water. * Call 911 (or the local emergency number) as soon as possible. * Check for breathing and, if necessary, begin CPR if you are trained. Occupancy: * This property accommodates a total of 6 guests, with a strict maximum occupancy of 15 people at any time.
